islands (additional cost) of the Tunku Abdul Rahman Park & really bliss out on any 1 of the beaches, the blue
sea and coral reefs with colourful marine life. Then move over to Sapi Island where lunch will be served.

Overview : Kiulu Village is worth a trip just for its lovely rural scenes. The river activities are a bonus.
Every year, traditional water sports were held here. The rafting is mild so it is suitable for
the children. Light refreshments will be served while you are brief on rafting techniques,
DO's & DONT's Rules. Then enjoy the rafting while the BBQ lunch at river side is prepare for
you when you return.
Schedule : 1030hrs : Arrive at starting point. Orientation. Safety procedures briefing & touch on basic
techniques of rafting.
1100hrs : Start rafting. Approximately one and a half hours to ending point covering 7KM raft.
1230hrs : Arrive at Kiulu (the ending point) & BBQ Lunch was served.
1400hrs : Transfer back to KK City.
* IMPORTANT : Rafter must be physically fit, contact lenses are not advisable. Do not bring the

Overview : From the cool temperatures at the Kinabalu Park** (** for description, please refer SGE 008), down to the
warm bath at Poring Hot Spring. The usual swing-by for climbers seeking to rejuvenate trail-weary bodies.
The hot sulphuric water here is believed to have healing properties in Sabah. Poring is also a place for those
in search of rare orchirds & unusual plants such as the world's largest flower, the Rafflesia. The Canopy
Walkway at 41m upwards brings you eye-level with the treetops. If you prefer to view beauty from ground
level up, there is the Butterfly Farm (option). Several species are found here including some endangered
ones.
Schedule : 0800hrs : Pick up from Kota Kinabalu for 3 hours drive to Kinabalu Park while stop over at Nabalu Village.
1100hrs : Arrive at Kinabalu National Park. The home to numerous species of interesting flora & fauna. The
park is located at 1,600m above the sea level with shooting temperature. Visit Mt Garden (entrance

every afternoon. Evenings & early mornings at the park are prefect for bird
watching with over 300 species known to inhabit the area. Kinabalu Park received
the greatest recognition of its biological contribution when it was declared
Malaysia's first World Heritage in 2000.

Overview : A cultural tour that takes you to North through Kota Belud, the home of the Bajau Horse Men is Kudat where the
Rungus maintain their Long House lifestyle & traditions. The life here revolves mainly around their rice planting
& their handicrafts - basketry, bead work & cloth weaving. Rungus women still use a blackstrap handloom to
weave their traditional attire made of cotton which they grow themselves. Their dress is one of the most nice
& attractive among Sabah's ethnic groups. Cottage industries include Bee Farms & Gong Making. For Kudat's
newest attraction is Simpang Mengayau - The Northern Most Tip Of Borneo, which looks out over the South
China Sea & Sulu Sea. On a clear day, the outlying islands of the Philippines can be seen from this point.
